Through all the crap that's been going on, I'm happy to say that I'm actually really excited for this new season. I just heard a lot of new nerfs/buffs, add-ons, take aways, and not to mention a new and slightly bigger map that looks great. Hats off from a $$$-hat great job EA. You will be earning my battle pass 🤝🏾Ps- I really hope there is a solos- ranked coming and also you do something about using the red coins you give us. Maybe not forcing us to buy a skin just to use them. Other then that, looking forward to the release date🤙🏾

@DoYaSeeMe I understand some of the concern with split player base. I am just starting to play Apex again after a month off. The disconnects have certainly been controlled much better. In regards to solo splitting or not splitting the player base, TF2 still has an active lobby, I have been playing multi player and frontier defense along with re-playing the story mode over the last month. In any given game time the worst wait I saw was 1 minute. Not really sure when the wait time was longer than that tbh. Of course I took breaks from it for COD and Fortnite. On a side note I am neither in favor of nor against solo, Fortnite succeeded with those offerings because it had LTM's rolled out every week alongside the other modes.Personally I would like to see the ability to play custom matches more than a solo mode but that is my feeling on it. Ltm's will bring new life to the game as witnessed recently with solo and the armed and dangerous event. I don't think solos would break or split Apex, but since I don't design games for a living it is just an opinion like everyone else's.

I'm desperately waiting for solos, as I'm on the verge of quitting this game, dealing with randoms makes me want to pull my hair out.

@Macrokex I feel you, as excited as I am to play the new updates if there is no solos added I see myself quitting less than halfway through the season. I've already gotten hyped on playing other games. No need getting upset at being forced to play with toxic players or bad matchmaking when there is plenty of other games to play.

It is unlikely they will release solo as a core mode.

Solo and Duo will be used as a cash grab the same as before. They know the player base wants these modes and they know they can get the whales to spend for the limited time loot with these modes. This was proven during the solo event or the cash cow event ($160 minimum spend)

Its a shame but we can only hope that when the player base drops even lower that maybe respawn will understand greed is pointless when there is no players to buy there stuff

@sireladio Very unfortunate, if they take that route. Taking 5 steps forward but ten steps back.

Clearly there is an entire fan base lurking in the shadows solely for this one purpose and yet nothing is done for them but to entertain their fantasies for 2 weeks and toss them back into the garbage.

My friends list is around 700 players. At of this maybe 450 use to play apex with me.
Now 3 people play apex with me.

The issue is that no one I play with enjoys being placed with randoms. This causes an adverse affect where people dont bother to play. Solo and Duo would clearly see a rise in players and would also see many streamers coming back. It is something that has been said time and time again by big named players. However it seems that respawn is set on forcing us into 3 man groups.

@sireladio I'm with you. They don't even need to have a ranked playlist for this to come in affect.

It's a nice change of gameplay to have 3v3 but other games that do 4v4 as a base have other options if that's not for you. 8v8, 1v1, 2v2, 5v5, etc..there's always a back up because you can not force your players to play one style. The fact that there is only 1 options with 2 game modes in this is so limiting for your player base you mine as well tell them to go play competitor games.

@DoYaSeeMe Steps back referring to bringing In solos and taking it back when you got a full positive response from the community.

If you are trying to back up this claim that they don't want to be the "classic muliplayer shooter" then you would agree they never should of brought in solos to begin with, not only entertaining the idea of becoming a classic shooters with an ffa playlist but implementing it in the actual game for the public to play.
If they want to stick with "not classic" then they should let everyone know upfront this game will never have 1v1 or 2v2 playlists.

@SilentChillBruhActually I thought at the time that bringing in a taste of solo mode is a bad idea, even if they did clearly state that it's a Limited Time Event. I was against it, but it didn't feel as unbalanced as I expected, so I wouldn't mind if they bring it back again as a limited time event. I don't want it permanent though, as it can affect the game on the longterm.
