@Burnie_00 No audio was purposely nerfed to stop skilled players winning a fight because they could hear their opponent. It will always stay like this because Respawn loves to make everything noob friendly.
Audio footsteps from the rear is a bug in the game.
- @xpl0its Used to work perfect before season 3, and then again after season 4, then completely broken in the current season, this evidence suggests that it's been purposely done to help newbie players. Imagine a large map like Olympus and you can hear footsteps... the team with high ground will always win. If it was a bug they would've addressed it already, this is why I suggest that it's been done on purpose.
- @MoNosDirtyGaming Audio has been a problem since season 1 but it is worse now than it has ever been. Respawn have given up on this game so should everyone else.
- @Acumental yeah but in season 1 you could hear someone running 50m away, you currently cant hear anyone when you're a solo or if theyre a solo or if they use horizon, because horizon has 0 footsteps, along with her broken tactical, makes her the best legend this season by far, better than wraith and pathfinder. It shouldn't take a whole damn season to fix a simple issue, which gives a basis for pure proof that it was implemented on purpose, along with all the other noob friendly stuff since season 5, like lag compensation for players who abuse it, not needed and shouldn't have been added in.
