No heirloom shards !!!

Are u kidding me EA ?? I play this game since march 2019... I spend 3000+ hours playing this game, I have complete 1-6 battlepass. My lvl is 500 too long. And i still don’t get any heirloom ?? I love this game and i spend many time playing this game but Im really sad when i see how my friends get’s heirloom under lvl 500. If you EA have hearh why you don’t respect old players who get more that their time into the game??!

    @janko555111 Level actually plays no role in it at all. You have a chance of getting heirloom shards in every 1 to 500 packs opened. Hours played also do not mean much towards the system it's purely randomized.

    @janko555111 I recently reached level 500 too, it sucks because we won’t be getting anymore free packs unless they increase the level requirement to 1000 but its just randomized some people can get one in like 300 packs while someone else has to open all 500 just to get one

    A feature they should add is like #/30 for your guaranteed legendary and #/500 for your guaranteed heirloom because it may motivate players to buy a few apex packs if they know they are close to getting something guaranteed

    @janko555111I have been playing since this game first came out, I made a second account to get a better chance of getting an heirloom which worked because I got one at level 86. For a character I didn't even play.

    At least when you get yours eventually you will be able to get it for the character you want, rather than having to wait longer for it like I have to.

    So you think every "old" player should be guaranteed a heirloom? Nice way to effectively de-valuing  the exclusivity and "worth" of heirloom... Its simple market economy; exclusivity of the loot is what drives the totally voluntary and unnecessary (for the gaming experience) market of loot boxes. You pay to look pretty. Dont be mad at Respawn; be mad at yourself for being so vain.

    And to expand on what @E9ine_AC said;

    Truth is that we dont know the exact probability of getting a Heirloom shard . Many think that its 1/500 = 0.2% chance but truth is that Respawn never confirmed this, nor did they say that you will get one in one of the loot boxes between the 1st and the 500th.  What they  DID say is that there is a mechanism, a kind of failsafe, that gives you a shard the 500th pack you open, should you not have gotten one before that.  In reality, I wouldn't be surprised at all if the actual probability of getting one is far less than 0.2%.

    @janko555111 You can still get it with only having pay for the battle pass if you play for a couple more seasons. And you should be more than halfway through to getting one based on your level and battle pass levels so just buy around 200 packs during sales.

    Is there anyway to track how many packs a person has opened?  I know I've spent money on them and got them from Battle Pass levels and such.

    Also, I got the heirloom for Caustic in Season 6 from the packs I purchased... does that "reset" the counter of 1/500 or not because it was an event thing?

    @GrandDoodie Search up "Apex Pack Calculator" and you will be able to figure out how many packs you have opened based on your level, battle pass levels, treasure packs opened, and purchased packs.

    I'm pretty sure the system will reset no matter how you get the heirloom.
