would it be nice to have also a "kudos" function to praise your teammates ? (only for randoms tho, it would be exploited by triple stacks i guess)

I would just prefer that people mic up and when somebody else does something worthwhile (infrequent in my experience) then call it out verbally.
"I'd much rather see something like smite's match synergy...."
This is a different can of worms entirely. I'm that guy who would respond to that kind of manipution with furious spite by making it a point of protest to quit every single match, even the sure wins. Which I have done before for various other reasons. Public shaming as a form of behavior modification is just plain bad psychology, even if it doesn't often produce extreme reactions like mine. Carrots, yes. Sticks, no.

Never saw it as shaming. Just used it as a potential warning. "Hey this guy left a match recently" so if he leaves the current match, chances were unlikely it was a DC issue. In which case if he left again I do what is done to every person who leaves a match early, good synergy or not, and report them.
Not sure what games you'd been playing for such a thing to turn out so badly, but in my experiences I've never heard anyone called out for having a low synergy.
However I can understand your reasoning. I myself just don't see the issue in shaming someone who rightfully deserves it. (I.e Cheaters)
But perhaps you're correct in that thinking.
