I Disagree that Pathfinder is the problem.
The main problem is that there's only 1 map designed for Control (Thunder Dome). Matchmaking is staged, and Wattson, of course.
Pathfinder isn't OP, just essential. Without a good Path on your team, you're playing a spawn and running simulator.
How to try and balance Control:
1. Before the start of a match, each team should have 3 Pathfinders and Octanes designated for a free ultimate.
2. Spawning at Base grants Double damage and speed, and 90% Fortification for about 7 seconds (to help when matchmaking is broken) (most matches).
3. Wattson's fences should be broken once you're electrocuted. (Wattson can Ban B for free; a single fence can be more effective than a player.)
4. DO SOMETHING ABOUT THE MOBILE RESPAWN BEACON, THERE'S NOTHING MORE FRUSTRATING than accidentally using it! OH YEAH!! MY TEAM'S FUSE PLAYER PLACED IT NEAR OUR BASE.
