Pathfinder vs caustic
- Hi,
I play as pathfinder and when i launch from the dropship he quotes, «hold your breath, if you have to breathe» «I dont!»
why does he get damage from caustic gas and when he uses his «mask» he is alright?

I'm not a developer, so that's merely an assumption. Truthfully, it's probably to keep Caustic from being under powered. Imagine setting up traps to lock off areas, and then a Pathfinder runs through the gas and kills you. Wouldn't really be fair.
- @xPluggenn For lore reasons, the gas could be corrosive as well or something.
- That same logic of ‘’ locking off an area and someone running right through it’’ is why I want caustics gas traps to not damage wattsons fences as a similiar concept like pathfinder wattson’s fences can not breathe... someone said wattsons pylon should destroy gas traps and I agree with that tbh, but for pathfnder breathing it I agree that it would just defeat the purpose of the gas traps if pathfinder could run around also revenants could too as he is a robotic skelaton, octane only has robotic legs as far as I know
