Pc, console cross play?

I got friends on pc and I'm on PS4 so it would be great if we could play together. I think that it should be that when your just using a console or just using pc there should not cross play matchmaking but if you team up with a friend on another platform there is cross, kind of the way fortnite did it.

Cross platform play is on its way. Unfortunately, stats won't be able to transfer over. So for example: When cross play is made available and i wanted to fire Apex Legends up on my PC, I'll have to start with all my stats from zero and no unlocks - nothing from my Xbox Gamertag will transfer over.
But it's coming!

Cool can't wait to pwn Xbox controller players. Honestly cross platform will ruin this game and I hope they reconsider it.

Quite sure it will be possible to choose between playing with crossplay or not.

I rather not have cross-play, considering the edge that pc players can get with their mouse and keyboard.. However, it would be nice if the consoles using kb/m would be able to cross-play with pc while those using controllers are still able to play with controllers. It... makes it more fun for everyone. Kind of like, as you said, how fortnite did it

Lol ofc they exist. Even better, some games console versions have built in aimbot, because gamepad players can't hit anything. :D
