Pc cross platform FPS cap

Since we have heard cross platform is coming I thought I would make a quick post. I am really loving this game honestly it’s the teams best work and I got hooked to online play with MW2 and really enjoyed both titanfalls.

PC players should have to have a mandatory FPS cap if they are playing with console you already have console players getting 40fps and some getting 51-61 which makes a difference. You then add to the mix pc gamers which have the keen eyes and IQ to make use of 120+ with better refresh rates on monitors you are clearly giving them a bigger player pool to stomp on. There are tons of videos on weather FPS makes a difference and the consensus has boiled down to if you have the eyes it 100% helps. I have to cap my sensitivity just to limit blur and miss spotting players than there is the FPS drops which happen which I can record if needed that cause missed shots 5-10% of my matches.

Wait so you want to punish players that have good hardware because you don't have good hardware?

What a stupid post. Because of console peasant PC users should not be allowed with 120 fps? Maybe you should tell your mom to read your posts before you publish them.

    Hi OP,

I completely understand your point; but I 100% disagree with it.

I paid good money for my rig and especially for my 144Hz Monitor.

The whole point point of having a PC over a console is that we have the choice.

One choice we have is to tweak our game settings to our heart's desires, just so we can achieve those 120+ frames per second.

Limiting this would create such an uproar & backlash from the PC gaming community because it would be (in my opinion) fundamentally wrong.

Playing on my PC, before I got my 144Hz monitor, at no point did I request for a the Devs of an FPS title to limit gamers who achieve higher FPS than me (because it's unfair)...I simply sucked it up....played to the best of my abilities...and joined the 144Hz club when I could (finally!) afford it.

This is just how it is on PC, and cross-platform will have it's good points & bad points; but what you suggest, at least for me, is not the solution to this problem.
