Is this after today's balance change to the Peackeeper?
@EA_Blueberry I honestly hadn't noticed any difference; PK still dominates in too many scenarios and is consequently being used by almost everyone.
As most aim for the body anyway, and are already more than happy with the lvl2 bolt, I don't feel this change addresses why the PK is so good.
Moreover, I don't think the PK has *become* OP, it's been that way for a long time.
The increase in projectile size certainly increased its power level still further, but more than that, it popularised the weapon.
Now everyone knows how good it is =/
The PK will stay OP until the end of the season.
It' so people have a reason to use the new unique skin.
The nerf was a joke. Read all the twitter comments in the tweet. It's kind of sad, you even see some pros and streamers in there.
@EA_Blueberry Thanks for the reply! The recent nerf did little to stop the peacekeeper abuse that continues to plague lobbies. I truly believed the weapon was well balanced prior to the season 3 buffs it received. The inconsistency of the season 2 peacekeeper made up for the high potential damage output it could dish out. All in all the weapon is still far too powerful and consistent despite the nerf.
