Please fix gyro and add it to more platforms not just Nintendo

Hi, I want to make you know that the gyro implementation on Nintendo Switch 2 it's not natural, doesnt feel good to use, rather wants you to turn it off

I've been investigating about this topic and now I know why it feels wrong

  1. The sensation of the gyro feels really bad due to seems like using a conversion from gyro to a joystick, this isnt ideal due to the increase precision makes gyro doesnt even need to include aim assist and the movement doesnt correspond as freely as a mouse, the axis feels locked and doesnt allow for fine tuning
  2. The second thing it's that the 3DOF (3 degrees of freedom) to 2D it's lacking some movement, the best option for switch it's local space due to it's portable nature, but adding 2 more options if prefered would be nice as World Space and Player Space

Another thing that are good:

  • Sensitivity sliders
  • Flick Stick
  • Button to recenter the camera and turn gyro on off
  • Add it to more platforms

A GameDev called Jibb Smart created a guide on how to implement it correctly and also did it on a popular game already

Would be nice if you can work on this, since I think eveyone would appreciate the effort and some other players doesnt even know the value of gyro aiming yet due to not being in the best state right now
