People should have 24 hours ban
I am personally deeply tired of people leaving the game because they die quickly or otherwise and it destroys our opportunities in the game, so either have to have done so it is not possible to live ...

I disagree with 24 hours; I do agree with the necessity of penalties though. When penalties are introduced, Respawn should also implement a rejoin button in case somebody just really crashed.
IMHO the approach then should be the following:
1. as long as the original match lasts the quitter cannot join a new game at all,
2. after that an automatically increasing time penalty starts; 1st quit within a certain time period 10 minutes ban, 2nd quit 30 minutes, third quit 1 hour, and so on, up to 24 hour,
3. combined with XP penalty for a certain period of games.
I feel like there are more legitimate problems you guys could be solving rather than punishing the people who play the game... maybe try fixing the problems that cause them to leave in the first place?

This mindset is exactly what's the reason for the quitter problem and the resulting need to handle it.
Really want people to stop leaving games give us other game mode options. I know for a fact solos and duos have been asked for. We all end up on a bad team with poor sportsmanship with the way it works right now. I started out with the idea that I should never leave only to find teams that care little or less of my death or don't even care to just revive when they can after the squad that we were fighting is killed. If you don't want players to leave encourage teams to play together as a team. Or give others alternative modes to play in stead of punishing people that leave because they were left for dead before their timer runs out. Punishing them after this fact is moot anyway since they can't be brought back into play by any method and to force them to watch is a waste of time in a game that requires you to gain XP in order to just level up.

They haven’t formally announced anything. Some code was accidentally activated in the game - but was since removed.
Yes, they more than likely will implement this - but nothing is certain, especially the “very soon” part.
Those that pick up Items and just keep that stuff for no good reason how do they get to LVL 40 and not realise that carrying shotgun ammo with a SMG and a PISTOL is not a thing.
Punish everyone give everyone a 12 hour ban except for the cheaters of course they didn nothing wrong it's a cultral thing.
Very soon is not soon enough! WE need it now!
