- @MoNosDirtyGaming It be helpful, and if there's that one person you want to have something, it can be like "I have a level 3 heavy mag, but it's not mine... think I can have it?" Which if you're not near the box yet or found another, it let you say "yes" or "no" and the person either gets it or don't.
100% agree on the lock though. One random killed the last person off in a team in one of my matches, and just looted my box and didn't bother to respawn. The other teammate had to respawn, while that greedy guy was just a in d'ing back and forth next to my box. But then there’s the problem of a selfish teammate locking their box, when you might need to get heals or something from it.
Or shield swap, which is a big tool.- @Sir_Named A possibility indeed. Maybe it can just be like Loba's Market, where it's a limit of 2 items or something.
@Sir_NamedWith the current sbmm? Na bro.
Easy fix, we have multiple buttons, they should clearly show on screen to unlock certain parts from the box. I.e Up on the D pad to unlock all ammo, right on the D pad to unlock shields, Left on the D pad to unlock guns, down to unlock heals/explosive ordanance, then another button to lock/unlock all. Simple.
To show your box to appear differently to others; the entire box should be black if it is locked, green if it is open and another bright colour if it is partially unlocked.
Locking a box heavily outweighs the option of allowing your teammates to shield swap etc because 9 times out of 10 (in my lobbies) the random has no clue of what a controller is in the first place, It also stops the random looking at the game like a loot simulator and actually help in fights (hopefully).

Exactly. Also, I've gotten into matches where you have a Teammate that just grabs everything, then runs at an enemy and dies. Leaving you pretty much unarmed. So, you might need whatever is in the box to actually have anything to defend yourself, to even get their banner to the respawn point. Also, if they die outside the ring (and it's closing in) and there's a respawn inside the ring, chances are they're not going to be able to go back to their box and get anything, anyway, so better it goes to a teammate than just collects dust outside the ring.
Yeah, I get there are some not so good players in Apex (in terms of playing as a team), but locking your teammates out of possibly much needed supplies is not the answer. I feel it would do more harm than good, in the long run.
- @JonStriker126 I guess if it only locks the guns, attachments, and armor stuff, it should be fine, but the health, shields, ammo, and grenades, not quite worth locking.
- @Midnight9746 Maybe the enemy has access to HALF of all your loot and can shield swap too if it is locked? with your helmet&knockdown shield being unable to be stolen?
There should definitely still be a button to allow/disallow teammates to take your shield though. - @MoNosDirtyGaming If there's going to be a lock, it should honestly just lock half the box, and still allow teammates to get what they need to survive.
- @Midnight9746 True, but i'd rather still have my box intact than ransacked. Half locking the box would still allow them to take half of the syringe/shield supply, more than enough for them to survive. (Usually if i'm dead my teammates are always dead anyway soo..)
Or better yet make it so it takes 2 players to fully loot your box, this would make more sense because 2 teammates looting your deathbox? Rare.
Box lock still in play here too. Players with a brain would unlock their box for others if they really needed it i'm sure. It is called loot enemies r always going to take ur hard worked loot away when u die. Just like u will take their loot
