Please ban the cheaters

At this point given recent and distant past you are more likely to get them banned by writing to Santa Clause vs here... unfortunately.

Respawn can't even remotely control the situation - every! and I mean 100% every lobby past P1 is containing cheater(s), at least one, but usually more like 5+. And if you have experience with cheats and Apex you can easily tell:

• perfect prefires despite disadvantage angles
• amazing game read while in idle time totally brainless moves
• bursts of damage when it matters aka you suddenly die mid fight in like split second
• instant snap on targets (including funnies on knocks when they fail :D ) as soon as you start shooting an enemy
• DDoS and lags or lately your game crashing with Directx Error as soon as hacker decided to drop you
• Spectator mode switching to random team vs your killer as it should be
• Game freezing, bricking when spectating sus players, unable to spectate even after restart of the game
• Shaking of the crosshair while shooting as well as while being idle (to a lesser extent)
• No regs on enemies while they hit you no problem
• Turbo tap strafing, air 180s maintaining full speed
• No recoil (can't forget about good old one) on any range

Probably I forgot something  :) but this covers at least typical Plat/Diamond lobbies.

We definitely do ban cheaters as we identify and confirm their behavior. There are a couple recent updates here and here with more information if you'd like!

Banning cheaters is not something that just happens once and solves the issue sadly, and we're definitely aware cheating still takes place. We're always working on new detection methods and updating the current systems, but you can also report in-game or here to make sure they're flagged for us to check into. Thanks!
