Please fix the cheating or you will lose more money
EA if you want people to spend money on your game you need to simply do one thing, FIX YOUR GAME. You guys had one of the most biggest chances to attract new players in, have old players return, and drive up sales but you ruined it because you simply are not fixing the cheating and hacking in the game.
Simply put, your drive for sales and money overruled the most important part of a successful game, genuine, good quality gameplay. Take a look at overwatch, early january player count was low, new players were not enthusiastic about it and the main player base was slowly drifting off but they turned it around by listening to the player base and improving upon what the people found was the problem with the game and now they are gaining success overall.
For Apex however, you guys were the opposite of OW in the beginning, the promising season 20 had the gaming community excited and with the new skin and legend release,everyone was excited to get on Apex and play it but when the cheating and hacking problems came up, and the news that most Apex preds were cheating, instead of taking swift action to overcome these problems, you banned some actual cheating accounts and banned a lot of accounts who were not cheating and then released overpriced repeat skins.
If you actually care about the game please make it so that every Apex account is bound by the players IP address and phone number so that if cheating is seen and they are banned and they can’t make 500 accounts. Please actually develop a proper anti cheating system and have a team that focuses on developing solely new anti cheating software for every new cheat that comes out.
I am not addressing the developers but the big bosses that scream for sales to drive up because if you think that selling overpriced, underwhelming skins for a game that doesn’t even run smoothly, and can’t even detect the most simple cheats deserves even an ounce of the player bases money, you do not deserve to be calling the shots on that game nor should you be in the gaming market.
Games are not a necessity but are more of a commodity, and while I have enjoyed the creation of Apex overall, it is very clear that your intent is to try and make as much money as possible and then dispose of the game.
I think Apex can truly become a long term successful game but unless there is change for a better system within the game, this will be another game that just fades away.
Thank you for your time and this is not an attack on the developers or anyone else who works effortlessly to make the game enjoyable but more on the CEO’s who solely just want a higher profit margin but doesn’t actually take the time to stabilize what they have before wanting more.
