I personally think it's in a good spot right now, it shouldn't really be easy, as it gives players something to practice on and it becomes much more satisfying when you pull it off properly.
It adds depth to the game, with the current situation there are lots of players that are experimenting with movement and creating a lot of different movement tech.
Of course with these kind of things, players will abuse macros to make it easier for themselves, not just for Apex itself.
But I feel like it's a bit unfair to remove something like that from the game purely because others abuse macros to achieve it or because others don't want to put in the time.
Yes it adds an advantage to those who know about it, those who are able to properly utilize said movement will be able to climb higher, which would result in them getting separated from those who are unable to use said movement in-game.
Of course with the matchmaker favoring queue times over certain other factors, it's still likely for those players to encounter players that are unable to use it, but movement has become a core part of the game and if players want to improve then some types of movement are required to learn, otherwise they'd need to learn ways to counter said movement.
Movement overall has already grown a deep root in the game, removing certain kind of movement would do more harm than good.
Though if you're not talking about removing certain movement types but rather are asking for new types of movement that are easy to use, then I suppose that's something that could be experimented with in-game, but again, I do feel like movement is in a decent spot at this point in time.
