You cant really use numbers here. Problem of Spitty is its HUGE magazine which you have no chance against with anyh SMG or even shotgun if you miss few shots.
Spitty is much more reliable close range than SMG or Assault rifle, especially for casual players.
Its just too easy to jump into someones face with Spitty in my hands, just crouch spam / strafe / spray and it mostly works out because my victim needs to reload.
Look at 2020s best TTK in the game and is anyone using it ? Or look at LSTAR, noone is using the best TTK guns in game ? why ?
I agree that Spitty ISNT GOOD AT MID RANGE, so maybe youre using it wrong. Try it instead of SMG or Shotgun sometime to use its full potential. 🙂

A Spitfire is not hard to recognize. There have been plenty of times where I've died to R301, PK and CAR when using a Spitty, and it's because the enemy was able to bully me with proper cover/headglitch and chip at me until they knew they could strike. And they knew they could strike because they were confident with their aim.

Either you're being anecdotal or you're getting outplayed by people who are using a Spitty-- either because of your own hubris or their ability to bully your position better.
I see so you're suppose to run away ? Is that how engagement works now ? Run away when you see someone using devotion, splitfire or any other lazy zero reload weapons ? So it is non skilled base with high rewards. Interesting.
@espadakillar69Do you not run away from a gibby bombardment? Do stand in the open, waiting for bullets? I hope the answer is no. As @NullEffective9 details, cover is key. Out play your opponents, run if you are outmatched by a skilled player, but do your best to outplay them. In what I believe to be the goal of apex, is that every gun is a compatible match with another. It just requires you to adjust your play style. Happy gaming!
