Rampart Turret/Vehicle/Drone Combination
Okay, last thread got closed because people were being too rude.
Here is my video: https://youtu.be/yOhmZB9QLmM
In my last thread, people said "do this or that or the other thing", yes, that could have been done, however, you were not the one playing. I was. I can watch any fight anywhere about anything and sit there and say "well why didn't you do this that and the other thing?" If you wanna tell me how to play the game, don't even comment. As stated before, a million things could have been done differently, but that was not the situation being dealt with in the video clip. Next time I will not clip them.
So thanks for the feedback on how to play the game.
Now back to the main point - A flying/mobile turret.
I am not going to answer all the questions that were asked in my previous thread in where the asker tried to justify a mobile turret.
My question is simply - why is this a game design? It is very hard to combat especially in such an open map design.
Her turret can output so much damage in so little time. It DOES break the game and not make it fun when on the receiving end. It no longer allows players to combat this.
For instance:
- A squad is seeking shelter in a building. The ring closes. They are FORCED out of the building. But alas, a turret/drone combination is waiting for them. The drone is up so high it is hard to shoot at (especially while a ring is closing) and the turret spins up. Instantly downs the squad.
In my video, you can clearly see the turret instantly chew through my entire squad's health. The last person got away with like 3hp because the turret needed reloading - they got lucky.
The fact is, the turret can chew through health and armor like it doesn't even exist. Now it can be made mobile so there is no way to outrun or escape it.
I would like an explanation on how this was a good idea from the developers.
