Ramparts new suggested buff might be too powerful

Hi all I am a Rampart main. I wanted to talk about the new buff that Rampart is rumoured to be getting in season 13. So in a nut shell, Ramparts walls have been rumoured to have an increase in heal...

@davkin09 I agree (though I never feel bad about killing people with sheila). A common 1v1 strat is to place shield, slide jump away from it, and put damage on opponent, forcing them to choose between shooting a couple rounds into the shield or focusing rampart. Now they literally can't break it without wasting too many rounds and its build speed increase means that rampart will have the cover much sooner in that fight.

@ndcu679 Just to clarify, I love the build speed buffs, it just seems too frustrating when combined with that build health.

    Agree with the both of you and this is coming from a Rampart main.

    Build speed good. Extra health OP and I haven't tested it yet.

    The extra health will help enormously in the final ring but in all honesty the extra speed will be more than enough alone.

    I hear they will be increasing the spin up time of Sheila also. If they do they would have to increase cool down time and get rid of the automatic reload when Sheila is placed.

    But let's see how it plays, can't wait for Season 13 10th May.

    I will enjoy Rampart before she gets nerfed again.

    Hope not too many people play her as I enjoy never having to worry about people picking her 🤭

      @davkin09 i don't really think they plan on buffing sheila again since they did revert a shadow buff where they accidentally made mobile sheila's windup as fast as the emplacement version. If they do decide to nerf the wall's hp deployment, lowering it to 80 or 90 sounds fair. Other than that, It might be a repeat of her heirloom season where people bandwagon on to her just for sheila only to neglect her walls and get embarrassed
      whenever they used rampart recklessly. I guess we'll have to wait and see how it plays out.
