Correction: this system turns rage quitters away from the their game, but might instead keep some other players that would have left due to all rage quitters.
Not that I care too much because I would never play ranked with randoms, but this whole debate really amuses me. Before, everyone kept spamming this forum about all rage quitters and how they should be punished and now, all those rager quitters spam this forum how unfair the punishment is hahah
Annoyance quitter? Slightly irritation quitter?
If u read mine fully I stated at the beginning that I accidentally started a ranked match search but stopped it b4 it put me in a game and changed it to casual. But it put me in a ranked match anyways now if my teammates didn't act like casual randoms I would have noticed.
It's so funny how many crybabies on these forums scream about "unfair" leave penalty. STOP leaving and you will not be punished. Can't you ALT-TAB or get off your PC 10-15 minutes until the game is over (if your teammates didn't respawn you)??? Also, all these penalties of 100+ minutes, bruh you didn't get that high of a punishment after your first offense, you kept leaving and leaving until you got at that point. All these "accidental" leavers...GTFO with that bullcrap. Got almost 300 hours in this game, so a decent amount, but not 1 single time I got punished for leaving because I never left. IMO they can INCREASE the penalty even more, double, triple it, even permaban those with X amount of games left.
It's a radical penalty imo...hope everyone enjoys it as much as I do!

@BabbediboopiHmmm... getting there but I’m more of an ‘ohhh this guy wasted 2 clips on an enemy I already injured moments before I got downed, so there’s no hope’ quitter... the annoyance is there when I do the fighting and they (my teammates) do the running/looting because they apparently didn’t see the pinging or hear an enemy near us...
and I don’t do ranked just to be clear ^.^
Heheh same. I always leave in normal when I die if my randoms havent done anything special to make me like them more than just the average random. The permission to leave in normal is actually the remedy for most game related rage tbh, and likewise I dont care at all if my randoms leave, in fact I expect it. Respawn has designed the game like this; the incentives to stay in a normal casual game rather than just jump into a new game with new possibilities are just to weak.
Ranked is another think however since its supposed to be competitive, but as I said before; I would never play ranked with randoms =)
@BabbediboopiI prefer ranked, because randoms don’t quit. I realize that I won’t be progressing beyond platinum with randoms, but I care not. Ranked play is superior simply because randoms don’t quit and at least try and make a concerted effort to play as a team. When I’m playing solo, ranked is the only way to go for me. Unless I’m chasing some ridiculous challenges that would hurt my team in ranked play.
It happened again. Apex started a match for some reason but i didn't, then i wanted to leave, it didn't say that it would result in penalties. I still got a penalty of 100 minutes. I can't hold it anymore that i constantly can't play for something that is not my fault. Makes me quit ranked. Problem is that you also can't play all the other gamemodes
