The New Event wasn't that fun, and a lot like the battle armor event except with shotguns and snipers. Along side model respawn beacons.

Why can't we have good events like season 3? I hated season 3, but it had the best events ever in the game between Halloween and Christmas.
NOW it seems that I'm always playing the same thing and the events don't feel that special compared to what they use to be. This event focused on needed buffs and nerfs and tweaks, which is welcomed, but that shouldn't be the focus of the event.
Just re-watched the dev stream and someone said "it's a lot of stuff" Sure
Look events need to introduce something new and different and makes the game feel fresh, but limiting weapon and loot options, doesn't really do anything and the devs have re-used changing the loot pool for events WAY TOO OFTEN. I'm just asking for new ideas, like limited map changes or new anything. Idk maybe just have a titan mode (idk), just stop bringing loot drop changes or ring changes for a EVENT. THAT IS NO FUN. The reason season 3 events were so good is because no ever played as shadows before or played to capture a train with a new loadout every-day, but in like lost treasure we just get shotguns and snipers AGAIN FOR LIKE THE THIRD OR FOURTH TIME! It's no fun, we all have used shotguns and snipers before, nothing new.
Apex is becoming real stall and no real purpose to get on everyday, besides for the same reason we all started Apex. Bring something we have never seen before and bring us something fun and different to try. Please?
In terms of the event, what do you expect when there really isn't much to it? It wasn't an "Event", so much as a "Limited window to buy skins".
I mean, when I think of an Event, I think of new things to play and collect. There wasn't much collecting, as anything decent was locked behind a pay wall for insane prices. I mean, where is the fun in that, as a player? Spoiler Alert: there isn't any.
And, yeah, recycled Events/Modes isn't all that fun, in general. Believe me, take it from someone who used to play OverWatch daily. It gets old quick. And, on top of that, there isn't really any "earning" Event cosmetics in Apex. So, it's no new modes to play, and barely any new cosmetics to play for. That is a terrible combination. Honestly, I got all my Lost Treasure points in 5 days, and because all the other stuff was buy only, I had really no reason to play for most of the event. That isn't good.
So, yeah, I feel you about wanting more things to play and work toward. I mean, as it is, once you hit Lvl 500, you no longer get Packs, So there isn't really any reason to level up at that point. You mix that with mostly Cosmetics Behind a Paywall "Events" and recycled game modes, it really doesnt leave much to be excited for, If you have been playing this game for a while. And that is a huge problem, in my opinion
