Yes, my point is that Respawn and Apex are still unclear on the rules. This talk should not even occur; they need to have a hard and clear stance on the issue, an official statement condemning cheaters, and they need to make an honest attempt to ban anyone who modifies game files. This game isn't Doki Doki Literature Club, modifying game files is not a feature. Plus, you do not need the skill to win with CFGs; anyone who loses while using them is terrible. Right now, I can get files that remove all recoil from guns by moving mouse inputs to make them all beams; then, I can get movement files that allow me to meme strafe around at high speeds, but what about getting to high speeds? I can use files to accelerate over ledges at 500mps, not to mention perfect wall bounces and better audio. Right now, I can go from my current max rank of mid-plat to diamond to masters and even pred just by cheating with config files, no skill, no game sense, and nothing but hacks.
