@Mister_Chompski I'v been sniped a couple of times already (2 or 3-shot to be exact) by snipers while I had purple shield + purple helmet. Snipers do a lot of damage with the right upgrades and accuracy from the user. The "scout" weapon you are probably talking about is actually a DMR/carbine weapon. It even uses "light" rounds as ammo ( https://rankedboost.com/apex-legends/g7-scout/ ). It isn't a sniper rifle properly speaking even tho it's listed as such.
The G7 Scout is categorized as a sniper. It may be a light sniper, but still a sniper, none-the-less.
Because some flavor text says it's a sniper it needs to deal a lot of damage? It's the higher RoF "sniper rifle" in the game, obviously it will not deal as much damage per shot as the lower RoF ones.
I totally like how FORTNITE players wants to make this SKILL TIER game some OTHER GARBAGE like Fortnite is. Fortnite isn't ABOUT SKILL it is just a Garbage with big G. Everyone knows that already. We came to play APEX because we like DMG of weapons, how SHIELDS works etc. I just saw first couple of seconds of that guy and scrolled down to comment section and I stopped there. (JackFrags channel). If he is really complaining about shields and that TTK is higher and he isn't able to DO ANYTHING I think he should go back to Fortnite and stop destroying better game. I feel like EPIC GAMES paid these lames to complain through their YT channels with their bought subscribers...
tl;dr: stop changing this unique game to other game we already were able to play (PUBG, Fortnite etc.). We all LOVE this game because devs. made it this way. I hope that they will not change too much stuffs because these kind of stuffs (dmg/ttk) are the reason why this game is so unique and fun to play.
Do not adjust any TTK! This is a very irrational behavior
I really enjoy the game's current TTK and pace, which will bring more novice players willing to accept this game, I rarely got the first place in PUBG and Fornite, but I got about 5 times in APEX. The championship record, I really enjoy this game.
G7 is one of the few weapons that can use the sniper scopes, so you can't argue against that is is a light sniper rifle.
