Does EA or Respawn actually do anything about cheaters

@drewblueeye333 If you're using the reporting tools in-game, absolutely we do. 

It's certainly not necessary to get anyone's attention on Twitter or be a streamer/content creator in order to have your reports actioned or reviewed.

Now that doesn't mean every report always results in an immediate ban as these are investigated before an action is taken. While player reports are just one of the ways we tackle cheating, they're very much appreciated.

Do keep in mind that we don't share what actions are taken on someone else's account, so I do get that not having that feedback returned can be disheartening sometimes. That's not at all an indication that nothing is done, however, and couldn't be further from the truth.
