Re: Heavy rounds not landing.

@chiefthunderball I mean, there are a few variables to consider. Did you have good barrel stabilizer/stock? Not to mention heavy rounds drop the fastest, so you really have to shoot above where you want to hit depending on the range.

I can't remember if it was heavy, but I have seen in the past, with nice easy shots, I saw them also not hit and register on a person.

This was so bad, that I thought for a moment that this person had some Hit Cheat they were using, so they could avoid being hit.

  • @Draknost There are no variables to consider with a fully decked out flatline at 10 feet going right through a bloodhound like he was a ghost. I put 4 full mags into him and only about 1 landed. First set of shots while he was looting a crate missed completely. Dude was standing dead still and my shots were passing right through him.

@chiefthunderball : But did you spell out those stats in the initial post? No, thus my statement about variables. Now, with the variables you have listed, it certainly seems pretty odd.

Yesterday I was using a Flatline, I shot for around 3 seconds at someone 30 feet away, and never saw any hits registered, and I know I hit them but nothing registered.

This is only the second time I've experienced this in the game, but it's still out there and happening.

    Hmm

  • @xpl0its it happens to me with all heavy weapons. Especially the flatline and prowler. Single fire Hemlock isn't too bad but burst mode is so off it's not even funny

In the New Gold Duo Mode, I had several times the Flatline not hit...

    Hmm

P.S. I also had the Mastif kill 2 players with 2 shot! LOL

  • @xpl0its I think it's the Flatline, because lately it's been the same thing for me. If I am in a 1v1 with an opponent, we both fire at the same time, and I lose with the Flatline, while they win with virtually anything else. This is when it looks like we have the same body armor on. It's even worse with the Spitfire, but I think that's because its rate of fire is set so low.

I'm not even sure what the functional difference is anymore between heavy ammo and light ammo, because you would think the heavy ammo has a larger caliber and would travel at a higher velocity, both of which would equal more damage - but it does not appear to be the case at all.
