Re: Hipshooting has to much of a Handicap!

Yes in the Firing Range I have tested this... I'm standing at the end of the platform, just before it slops down, is where I was shooting from.

I think this is a pretty common thing in FPS games, after all the DEV are trying to bring realism, so of course just pointing a gun, vs using a scope even in real life, it can be more difficult, that doesn't mean it's always going to be like that.

Even in PUBG I see this, I also see this in COD Warzone, and Warzone is even worse with trying to Hip shoot people, it's more difficult.

So I get it, but I wish there was a way for the DEV to not handicap it as much, and I'm sure there is, if they wanted to sit down and work it out, to make it better, especially for Close Range shots being fired at someone only 10 feet in front of someone, as an example.

I think it really should get down to just a 'Distance Factor', depending on the distance, which a greater distance does become more difficult, then at anything as an example past 20 feet, is where we see something like this come more into effect, but when standing only 10 feet away with a Heavy Weapon, and it's an easy shot, then this is just plain silly, and now we are ruining the gaming experience.

  • @xpl0itsYeah, I think you mixed something up, because there is no difference in damage done between hip-fire and ads.

  • I think you may have been hitting leg shots, which do reduced damage.

Rip in the chat for you, I guess.

@DaleWWilson95 He might mean that, but he states many times that the hip-fire isn’t balanced because it does less damage. Which I have now proven false.
Also, I’m not sure hip-fire aim assist is stronger, it probably is the same but is more noticeable. And PC doesn’t have aim assist, so it wouldn’t affect them at all.
