Re: Please Remove The Player Limit From Custom Games

@CBACOOL Instead of letting players host the servers for their custom games, they are using the actual in game servers. The servers of this game have been bad for a while, so allowing everyone to create 1v1 servers everywhere would be an even worse load on the servers that they don't have the money to handle, I guess.

Even still, I'm also really disappointed. I've wanted this feature for so long and I STILL can't even use it.

Other games, I'd guess 99% of other games, allow custom games amongst friends to be handled between their own connections and cry about having dedicated servers instead.. This is a clear example on why I'm against dedicated servers. This is a paper update for EA - lets push out custom lobbies but restrict it out of reach for most of our player base

@MsCuppingtons This is what I've been trying to tell people. They actually should've made the count higher, The servers are so messed up right now

There can be many reasons for deciding to not allow players to launch dedicated servers locally.

Ideally you'd want the servers to be hosted on the client itself, but since that hasn't been the case, there must have been a reason for it.

I personally think it's done for security reasons, though not like I can give exact specifics on that.

These custom games were more intended for being tournaments anyways, smaller lobbies don't really fit in their design philosophy, it's a fighting game after all.

We might see custom games without a player limit in the future, though I think that they have thought about this decision.
