Hey everyone. 

I just wanted to pop in here since it's been a while. I'm afraid I don't have any updates to share at the moment, but I just want to say that we're still forwarding your feedback up to the team. 

If we do hear back with any updates we'll certainly let everyone know, but I also wanted to say that we appreciate hearing from everyone on this. It's good to see that people are so passionate about Apex Legends around the world.

@EA_Kent @EA_Blueberry So considering the massive and still growing petition here, the fact that Amazon now have South African data centres, and have also announced that any game can host local servers here, could we perhaps see some action from EA and Respawn? I mean put it this way, you wouldn't want Epic Games to eat up all your sales would you? Face it, there's money to be made.

Any updates about servers, we're all really hoping their going to be coming in season 5. Otherwise this is going to be another terrible season for ranked.

I see they putting a new server in the middle east , will this help us South Africans and reduce the ping? I know it wont be as good as having our own server but will it at least make it better.

I would also love there to be servers in SA and hopefully now with AWS setup in the country there may be hope. There are still many other things involved to bring servers here. 

For now the best thing we can do (much better than petitions and forum posts) is to keep playing the game and if you have R135 spare then support the game and buy a battlepass. The work put into the new map is worth R135 any day of the week.

please create a server in south africa the game has become unplayable for me since season 4 my ping has increased considerably i live on the Reunion island which is located in the indian ocean it has become unplayable for me play more than 215 ping not stable! a south african server would bring me 50-70 ping 

Hey @EA_Kent , we need some feedback and fast, please don't give us that copy paste response you've being giving so far. A lot of people have already bought the battle pass for this season and cosmetics. We need African servers, this game in it's current state is unplayable for us and we really want to play and enjoy it, so just please at least give us some feedback so we know whether to stop playing or not because at this point Apex is just frustrating to play.

Lines are best past 8pm or before 6am. Thats the only way to play this game competatively. Otherwise you empty mags at point blank range without a drop of blood. Until servers are provided you dont want to play this game otherwise. Just forget about Apex until then.

Man i started to have hope for EA and Origin after Titanfall 2 and Apex, but now the * * hat big company vibes are back, great job "Listening to community feedback" .

Maybe the community managers are too busy dealing with the actual Apex community xD

I don't understand why they are working on the next s6, s7, s8 seasons when nothing is done to improve their servers around the world.

Always these generic, copy-pasted responses which just sugar coat & patronize us Apex players.

It’s 2020 and there are no servers for Apex? Really? And you feel proud of this?

What’s worse, EA & Respawn want to advertise their EMEA representation... how exactly is Africa represented? How is it fair?

Is this a racial thing that there just can’t be servers here for us, a continent of over a billion people, yet Australia with maybe 30 million people has over 5 servers?

I think I will just start s**t talking EA & Respawn on social media. I mean, if they don’t care why should I?

I will probably get a generic response to this post in December 2020.... 😉
