Not a bad tip. If you're outnumbered 2 to 3 you'll want to be more selective on when you engage enemy squads. If I'm in that situation I'll try to swoop in after two squads were done fighting each other and pick off the other team while they're wounded. Playing a little more passive towards the end should help increase your chances of making it to the final 4 squads.
