Since Season 1, to be honest, I haven't seen or heard anyone really bothered by this and most people seem to like it, so when your caught up in the moment of fighting and forget, the sound reminds you...
Trust someone that has been playing since Season 1 LVL 500, the Ring Sound saves BUTTS, and without it, I guarantee you would die more often.
People are so bad with Situational Awareness in this game, and that goes for the Ring coming too...
