Re: Solo jumper madness

It doesn't make sense for the team to be forced to ride with the jumpmaster. If the jumpmaster decides to take us off the map and we can't break off, then what? I rarely encounter people that solo jump to their own spot. I've maybe had two people in my squad do this in the past half year playing this game. That might be annoying, though that's just one of the potential downsides to playing a battle royale.

I personally always solo jump so if the jumpmaster decides it's a good idea to drop the team onto a sidewalk in the middle of ten other squads, I can break off and bail. Due the way the ranking system works, it is extremely wise to acknowledge that there are going to be times where ditching your team is the best option. Just as the teammates I'm flying away from may be irritated that I'm doing that, I promise you I am even more irritated that they decided to land in a stupid spot. I'm not risking the forfeiture of 48 point in less than 60 seconds for a random squad. I had to get through Platinum running from dumb fights and hiding out by myself while the rest of the team quit. The devs made the game that way, and I'm simply adapting to it. There are good reasons to solo drop, although you won't find players that properly utilize the option in random queues.
