@EA_Blueberrythe only way to get them to stay would be to incentivize the situation. But then you’re giving an incentive for someone to die and Respawn. That would hurt the gameplay for the people who care about playing the game, as opposed to increasing some arbitrary number that more or less relates to time put in to a game.

Realistically the only way to encourage someone to stay is to remove the appeal of leaving right away so you can get back in to the action.

I get that it sucks that you have to spectate a bit, but that’s the style of game and if you dont loke the style of game, then find a game that is more your style.

It’s unfortunate, but you can’t make everyone happy - so it’s best to keep your core happy. The people who came and stayed because they like the fundamental aspects that make the game what it is.

This is advertised as a team game but random players leave in 90% out of every game when they are down but available to get back in to the game. Please give leavers a warning when they try to leave the game and a cooldown to join another game if they leave. You should not join a 20+ minute game if you can't play for 20 minutes. I understand you leaving if you are dead dead but people hit quick as soon as they are downed and it is really stupid. A player that leaves the game without a reason ruins the game for the other players on the team.

I played with a player that had 4.5k kills, he was downed and left within a second and this behaviour isn't encouraging beginners to stay when they get to play more if they quickly join another game. I can understand you leaving in PUBG after being killed but not in this game since it is a part of the game to get revived at the beacon.

They can clearly afford a cooldown ban if they have to leave before 20 min when they have teammates alive. I just had another game where my two teammates rushed in and died within 1 minute and left 0.1 seconds after they died. It is to my understanding that these leavers leave and quickly sign up for another game, another game they might ruin for other players. I keep on playing but it is not fun to play as a one man squad because the odds of beating a full team as a lonely player is very slim.

Why no Reporting Tool in a Free 2 Play Game whit so much Cheaters?
I dont understand why so many Developers, they make a lot of money, dont think on a Reporting Tool.

And pleas do anything against the Leavers and "Solo" players in this game! This is a game for Team play!

Im against this, As one of the many people affected by random crashes and disconnects i dont want to have to wait an additional x amount of time to get into a new game.... It sucks when people leave thats true, alot of the time its not actually them leaving though its the game crashing. That being said i have left a few games under certain circumstances

1. last guy alive on our team is AFK bot.

2. The team isnt gonna survive (missing shots on non moving targets within 10m of them)

3. The team has a-holes on voice either breathing into the mic or just being annoying.

4. Lack of communication, or people ignoring banners not helping the team... i guess some people think this is a sandbox game.

5. Had a guy fake revive me for 3 minutes so i just left.

and a various other reasons.

Dont think we can punish people for leaving since atm the game is so unstable and crashes so much, alot of people would get unfair penaltys

This is mostly a UI problem... All they have to do is..

• Keep party frames visible at all times during knockdown (they currently dissappear for 15 seconds)
• Make a different leave dialog that shows when you could be revived or rezzed, that reminds you you could be rezzed and  has a leave button that doesnt activate immediately, but instead has a 15-30s countdown timer
• Change the real end of game (squad eliminated or win) by preventing ESC leave and instead adding both "continue"  (to score screen) and "spectate" buttons, so people get out of the habit of ESC leaving every game.. (i i muscle memory leave way too often because the game has trained me to do it)

If they do these things, there will be alot less premature leaving.

And not only that. If the mailman comes with a package I need to open the door. I can't predict the exact time he will come. If my wife needs help with something must I say "sorry can't come because otherwise 2 other people can't win the match!". And there are much more examples in which case I would leave a match.

Okay but no one cares why you have to get up.  If you, or me or anyone, need to get up because something more important came up then a time punishment isn't going to be a problem.  If the thing that popped up was going to take time then why would you care.

Obviously playing a video game shouldn't come at the expense of letting your kid sit in a dirty diaper, or miss a business call or a package BUT a properly done timed punishment system is going to have different punishment for people that leave every game as soon as they die versus people that occasionally have to get up for important things.  If you have to leave games THAT frequently as to be indistinguishable from people that insta-leave every game on death then you should not be playing a team based game.

My proposal for a Leave Buster system

-Firstly, people need the ability to rejoin a game.  The game crashes far too often to be able re reasonably try to punish people for leaving if they can't get back in.
-If you leave or crash while in a death box your team mates should still be capable or picking up your banner.
-If you leave or crash while knocked down, team mates should be able to apply first aid still.
-If you leave or crash while alive you should just be put in the crouching position until something comes along and kills you, leaving a death box that your teammates can grab your banner from if they so choose.
-If you are dead/kocked/alive in a game you should not be able to start a new game.

-If you leave/crash but come back before your team loses, no punishment.

-First leave, only locked until your team is out.
-Second leave, locked until your team is out +10% extra time for how long they were playing without you.
-Additional leaves add +5% more to that time.
-Playing games without leaving reduces that by 2%.
-If you are at 20%(3 leaves in a row) or more than the game should prioritize putting you on teams with other people that are at 20% or more

-Leaving a game with a Full-Premade team does not contribute to the additional timed punishments.

This accomplishes a few things.
1: A crash doesn't 100% f*ck your team.  (Other day I had just got a Kraber and my team was camping the ONLY structure in the very small ring, before I could start sniping I crashed.  UGH)
2: People lose the incentive of leaving one game to start another, I'm confident this is probably an overwhelming majority of intentional leaving. 
3: People that consistently leave games anyway will rack up punishment time further dis-incentivizing the behavior and get stuck playing with similar people. 
4:  If you had to legitimately step away this shouldn't be an issue because having if you only needed to step away for 10-30 seconds then you probably didn't need to leave and if you had to step away for several minutes your team will probably be out by the time you get back. 
5: People that hardly ever leave won't be punished severely for the rare games they do leave.
6: Full-Premades being exempt from the extra time means that if you leave your friends in a game with good reason they shouldn't be mad at you, and you'll just have to at most wait for them to get out of their game or rejoin.  If you left your friends without good reason they might just not play with you and you'll get to play randoms again.  If you DO have to consistently leave games for whatever reason you can do so in a pre-made with people that give a sh*t about you and your reason as opposed to messing up random strangers games.

I welcome any challenge to my logic here cause I think its solid.  The only hiccup with this system is if they can't change things to let you rejoin, but as the lifetime of the games go on hopefully the devs will fix the crashing issues  anyway.  Currently my experience is that I only crash maybe once out every 25 or so games.  If you do crash at an abnormally high rate you probably need play something else anyway.

I think a 5 min (stackable) cool down should be added everytime you leave a match before it starts... stackable as it will be 10 mins if you do it twice withen a hour then 15 mins if you do it 3 times in a hour.. then the timer resets every week. Everyone wins. The punishment is small if you suddenly have something to do its not a big deal, but if someone is constantly leaving the cool down will be 5 mins first time, 10 mins 2nd time, 15 the 3rd time. For people who leave mid game I there there shouldn't be a punishment its casual. 

So im really amazed about this game and i think its very well done. It makes a ton of fun either playing in a premade squad or solo. But u personally have a really big problem with Players quitting everytime as soon as they go down. Theyre still in game and can be either revived or their beacon can be delivered for a respawn. But currently the Trend is more like „Rage-quit“. Therefor id request a quit-penalty like other Games as halo, League of legends etc. have. As long as theyre not out of the game for real they should be forced to stay. Ive been left solo or Duo so many times.

Can we get something to discourage people from leaving the game after they get killed ? What is the respawn beacon for if you got people instantly leaving the game whenever they die. Like if they leave during a match like that, they can't start another game for 5 minutes or something? 

 hate to say it, but this is not a good idea.. You are looking to punish people for leaving a game? What if you get knocked and it's clear your teammates are running in a different direction? Should you be punished because you are not willing too "bleed out" and then wait for the timer to expire? 

I can't tell you how many times this has happened to me. I always try to at least get my teammates banners, if I can't get too them and pick them up.. So I should be punished for a teammate that runs away? I just think that's ridiculous.

Why not one for someone who leaves 5 games in a row? Why is nuance hard?

Ever had a situation that at the start of the game there is a huge fight, then you have time to res everyone but your team just insta leave to another game after they die. Now you are stuck with solo or duo, you think that's better than having someone wait 2 minutes before they can leave the game? 

Think it wouldn't be that bad if they made it, that if you prematurely leave a game 10 times you get less xp each game afterwards, like in overwatch you get like 20% of the xp if you always leave don't think that would be that harsh, 

This will never be implemented. Ever.

1. People leave because of cheaters 

2. This is a Battle Royale; 1 less person to worry about is ok.

3. People leave because of cheaters.

Here are my reasons to leave after player selection.

Note: I play casually - I don't have 24/7 to grind the Frags in this game like "TTV_[insert_some_nick_here]".

- I don't enjoy being wiped out at the beginning only because my teammates are poor in the game, so I leave if they have level below mine. After 2-3 such DC guess what? I usually got better teammates (wonder why?), so here I go King's Canyon!

- I leave when one of the teammates selects Caustic or Gibraltar 

- I leave when they took my main (obviously)

- I leave because this beautiful game crashed once again !

- I leave because kill-hungry Wrath runs everywhere alone and don't even ping anything - when she dies she disconnects first ! XD

- I leave because, despite the high teammate level, he behaves like a bot, just standing there doing nothing (farming xp?)

- I leave because there is something else more important I need to do (you know IRL)

- I leave because there was no third player in the lobby matched

- I leave because I was the only one in the lobby from the start

- I leave when server lags

- I leave when server has any issues at all (like lower-gravity, bullets not registering etc)

- Did I mention that I leave because the AAA game crashed once again !!!!

If I had stayed in any of this scenarios (except crashes) it would be a waste of my precious time.

For those that do leave early, they fight the next round or 5 solo.....just a though
