Because its the way they designed it? Its a new season badge and its best to change them from time to time. With all the issues within the game, I don't think wasting time on a badge is a priority or should be.

    Yes, its priority is not very high, but I think it dampens players' motivation to participate in rankings (because they removed the most iconic exhaust), and it seems like this is the second time the same issue has occurred. The same was true of the Master logo from last season at the beginning, and they fixed it in the middle of the season
