@BlueEyeFerretHopefully this clears everything up. Im going to break down the loot distribution in this game. That being how many apex packs you used to get at certain levels compared to how it is now.
First I’ll show you what it used to look like.
Old system (45 total packs)
Level 1 = starting level so no reward
Levels 2-20 = 1 pack given every level
Levels,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,20
(19 packs in total)
Levels 22-56 = 1 pack given every 2 levels
levels,22,24,26,28,30,32,34,36,38,40,42,44,46,48,50,
52,54,56
(18 packs in total)
The reason level 21 is omitted from the ranges is because it just gives you legend tokens, this is the level between the levels where you receive your packs.
Levels 60 - 95 = 1 pack given every 5 levels.
Levels,60,65,70,75,80,85,90,95
(8 packs in total) The reason 57,58,59 are omitted from the ranges is because, like 21, they are the levels which you only get legend tokens between the levels that give you packs.
Levels 96-100+ = no more packs earn able .
So in total we have 19 packs from levels 2-20, 18 packs from 22-56 and 8 from 60-95. Thats 45 in total, the max number of pack you could earn
Now the new system (59 total packs)
Level 1 = starting level so no reward
Levels 2-20 = 1 pack given every level (19 packs in total) exactly the same as before
Levels 22-56 = 1 pack given every 2 levels (18 packs in total), exactly the same as before.
Levels 58-100 = Now has become 1 pack every 2 levels compared to every 5 levels. 58,60,62,64,66,68.70,72,74,76,78,80,82,84,86,88,90,92,94,96,98,100 (22 packs in total) This is where the xtra 14 packs come from. This range used to only give 8 as shown further above, now it gives 22, an increase of 14. This is why its only people over 56 that are effected by the extra packs.
Levels 102-300 = 1 apex pack every 2 levels also.
Levels 305-500 = 1 apex pack every 5 levels.
Level 500+ = presumably back to earning no packs again after level 500.
