Reasons why the game became very boring.

Ever since they started releasing new maps like Storm Point and forcing players to play them—especially in ranked—it became really boring to play Apex. Some of my friends even quit after that map was introduced. In fact, when Storm Point or that horrible city map with tall buildings is in rotation, we just don't play on those days.

On top of that, they're constantly making changes to the legends, giving way too much power to some of them. One of the great things about the game was that everyone had their preferred legend, played with them, improved their skills, and adapted to the team. But now, every season, you have to switch legends because the advantage some of them get is just ridiculous compared to others.

And finally, something I really liked about the game—compared to others—was its simple and user-friendly interface. But with the latest updates, I hate the menu usability more than ever. The interface is no longer as intuitive as before, especially when trying to check stats after a match and other features.

Summary: I feel really unmotivated to play when the map rotation includes Storm Point or that awful city map. I also dislike having to pick an overpowered legend just because it's the meta, and the interface has become far less user-friendly

  • I don't really hate any of the maps. I like the... variety. If you can call it that. But on every other point we're in perfect agreement. Terrible season filled with changes that seem completely irrational. Not sure how they go about recovering from this fiasco. Simply returning to season 23 setting will not be enough, imo. They need to do some serious damage control and some serious fan service. And they need to do it yesterday.
