Recoil cheats?
After watching countless hours of "pros" and non-pro streamers, I have to conclude that something funny is going on with recoil in this game.
many players I witness, including notable pro players have literally 0 recoil on any weapon they fire. This literally has to be cheating, or the game giving people different sets of circumstances.
Watch me in the firing range trying my hardest to compensate for the R-99 recoil.

Here it is again at half speed:

Before you say anything... no.... pulling down on the mouse does not eliminate all recoil. There are still tiny motions of recoil as the pattern isn't just a simple line upwards. Also, it is next to impossible for a player to be aiming at a target, while also simultaneously moving the mouse according to the recoil pattern. Doesn't happen. The bullets shoot too fast for the brain to process this. there will always be some perceptible recoil.
Also, you cannot jitter aim the R-99 because the bullets exit the gun faster than you can vibrate your hand, arm, or wrist. In short, there is literally no way to completely eliminate the recoil from the R-99 and many other weapons.
I would also like you to notice how little the streamer screen "shakes" from the vibration of the gun. My screen shakes violently often when shooting, causing me to lose sight of my target.
It can only be a handful of things:
- Better or different hardware (i.e. mouse)
- Software running on the computer
- Apex game settings
- Apex itself treating people different from account to account
To the first point, I have some of the best hardware you can buy. This is a non-factor. I have both a Logitech G-pro wireless x superlight and an G-502 lightspeed, and both can't do this.
To the second point, this is my number one suspicion at this point, but I would think that the anti cheat software would pick it up.
to the third point, I have searched endlessly for settings that would affect the screen shake and the recoil and I can't find any
To the fourth point, I have long suspected this game is a sick and twisted psychological A/B testing mechanism.
I am not accusing this streamer of cheating specifically, but I certainly find it suspicious. At a minimum, I can conclude that she is definitely not playing the same game as I am, because my guns sure don't act like that, despite my 3500 hours in the game and countless hours in the firing range.
