REMOVE ABANDON PENALTY FROM NON-RANKED GAMES

I understand abandon penalties have now been added to arenas!?
This completely contradicts the play style of Apex and why so many people love it!?

For me Apex is a game where I can quickly chill for 10 minutes before going back to work, if I get stuck with toxic teammates, no biggie I can leave and go back to enjoying my life.. abandonment penalties ruin this, the whole point of quick & unranked matchmaking is that it gives people the ability to give up and leave, knowing that everyone else can be in a new game in 30 seconds or less!?

Please don't be EA for once.

Don't transform a good game into a bad one.

Realize why the game is successful before making changes.

@bakerw71 The penalty is needed. People want to play with teammates. Not go solo 3v1 or 2v1. I can mute pings and coms from randoms. So they have no way to show me they are toxic. Leaving 2 people or 1 person behind imo is toxic. Its a team based game not a ohh i dont like this team im out game. That is the very reason the penalty was added. To stop people from leaving their teammates. Which has more issues and complaints then the penalty.

Won't be removed, as much as I want it to. I switched back to casual BR no-fill mode.

I mean they can remove the penalty and just refill between rounds if someone leaves.
It's poor design the way it is currently.

Dunno about plaing with randoms but getting penalty if you play with full team is just ridiculous

@Irres169 Suuuuure, I would just love to be put in an ongoing match where one of my teammates is lvl 50 and the other is afk and we already down 0:2, great for winning streaks.

@E9ine_AC What about the complaints of people having to babysit players that are new to the game? Got a lot of complaints on that too. Especially when solo queueing.

I was just penalized 10 minutes for the first time ever.
I was in arenas with a full squad. Match 1, all 3 of us played and we lost. Match 2, we lost and one of us hadn't moved from the original spawning point but wasn't showing as disconnected. Match 3, the same player did not move at all. The 2 of us playing/moving/fighting were down and all we could do was spectate from the AFK players POV while they hunted him down. Why wouldn't I leave the match?! Absolutely fuming about this.
I often have negative feelings about teammates leaving games in certain situations, but that comes from only my perspective, not theirs. In battle royale, where you can be recovered and respawned after being eliminated, I wonder why players bail before their teammates can bring them back. Even in situations where a matter of one minute can inform you whether it's likely or not you'll be brought back, people bail. I have grabbed banners and sprinted to the beacon, or used Crypto to grab and respawn, just to have the player quit a moment too soon. This bothers me, but, I have children who play with a set time limit. They have told me that their calculation is that bailing guarantees them more play time and waiting is not playing. If I have a controller in my hand I SHOULD BE PLAYING!

@bakerw71This is a terrible idea. It would only incentivize the bad behavior we see (mainly from Wraith players for some reason... The bald skins, you know who you are :D )
