Just because they're gold doesnt mean they're new or dont have the skill. People that were diamond last season got demoted to gold, I am one of those people and Im still in gold because I havent play much ranked, besides new people can be great at the game.
I believe aim assist is there because console players only have their thumbs to control things, while PC have their whole hand, wrists and or arms for control so its compensating and balancing it out in a way.
Ive heard a lot of PC players that have played console too say the aim assist isnt even noticeable, its not that much of an assist.
@BamBaCitA as a console player. It is very noticeable. When you turn it off. It's more difficult to stay on target. Takes more skill. To me, aim assist is a crutch that seems balanced because everyone is using it. It makes it to where anyone can shoot like a pro.
