@Balladalidila I don't know if we play the same game, but in the casual games I play, my knocked phase is short lived... And not because someone is reviving me.
As someone who prefers to play defensively with Rampart with more or less compliant team mates, I don't exactly have much of a choice but to stick to my team and behind cover. But somehow people know ways to bypass your knockdown shield just fine. Potentially could be because people can be from 50 to 0 meters in 1 second and have zero issues focusing on killing you first and then dying to your team. You gain kinda something from crippling the enemy team even if you die yourself. That they likely won't be able to recover from this especially in later stages of the game. Good luck respawning someone without getting noticed with that massive ship in the sky that has a flag hanging off of it: "Free killz, plz come here"

@Peri_Longbow_plz As someone who spends a lot of time with their knockdown shield and being rezzed by teammates, I rarely see what you're describing. Are you pinging the enemy that is thirsting you?
As long as you're reasonably close to your team, the knockdown shields keep you alive enough to be rezzed or even to shield your teammates. Of course, you should ideally have some cover and know how to turn.
If you're talking about surviving 3 players all going against your shield, that's obviously not going to happen and it shouldn't. Also, if you're isolated away from your team or wide out in the open, it's pretty much to be expected you'll be killed. In fact, you can easily have a finisher performed on you, which ignores knockdown shields anyway.

- 5 years ago@LaughingSharko The most usual outcome of almost any casual game I have: We stick together, we fight, I or someone else go down. I see a frag grenade coming in, turn around to block the explosion, allies of course try to take cover and well, then I'm toast because it's either being shot in the back or receiving 100 damage from Ariana grenade.
Besides, you can bypass the knockdown shield very easily. You can hit people by shooting the edges of the knockdown shield. For some reason the actual size of the shield isn't as displayed.
