Request to make Straight Shot a permanent game mode

Hello!

I absolutely loved the recent Straight Shot LTM and while I'm sure it's being said here already, I just wanted to pass on my feedback that it would be fantastic if this could be a permanent game mode.

I like playing ranked, but for me Straight Shot is the perfect formula for quick fun with it's instant requeue, shorter game time, fully kitted weapons, auto drop, and ability to revive without recovering banners. It captures the aspects of the game I find most enjoyable and distills them into a single mode without excess baggage. It's fun getting straight into the action, having lots of team fights, and if I end up not winning I can get right back into it. Very effective use of time as a dad with a full time job, and lots of fun to play.

    Okay. Sorry, but I have to be that guy. Shorter rounds. Kitted weapons. No drop decision. No looting. Respawns. I think it's great that people like all this, but this is not the battle royale formula I've come to know and love. It's just Call of Duty deathmatch on a slightly larger map. Why did people evacuate arena shooters for BR 6 or 7 years ago when, apparently, all they ever wanted was to play arena shooters??????

    @iAmGigatron Yes! Freaking fell in love with the game all over again. I've actually stopped playing since they took it away - like some sort of * brake-up: I enter the room hoping it'll be there. Its not. I get sad and leave because I miss it. *sigh* It was fun. I hope they bring it back.

    @reconzero It's definitely BR-lite, but I would argue it's still BR style gameplay. There is looting, it's just streamlined and condensed. There are still multiple teams on the map at once. There is still the concept of a shrinking circle and being the last man standing.

    I'm not saying the existing trios needs to go away, and I already like the ranked format so I wouldn't want the straight shot style to replace that either (although I would be open to the thought of streamlining certain aspects of the gameplay). This is just a nice casual option to fill time between ranked play when I want something that's more like a BR than mix tape.

    Speaking of arena shooters, I would also like to see a well-made return of arena. I grew up on arena shooters (Quake, UT, Halo) and still love them to this day.
