Resetting My Level Back to 100?

I've grinded this game since day one, why do you guys keep spitting in grinders faces? You had a great opportunity to reward players who play the game a ton but instead you are demoting us... there g...

@DemonicTim I am lvl 804 and i am very happy with this change. The other thing is who really checks the lvl leaderboard and what do you achieve by being high level ?

I think the most important thing is kills, rp. Also from the day this game started we were told lvl100 is top and that is why the game doesnt show us beyond that. Getting your unofficial Lvl from a 3rd party website doesnt really makes sense and it doesnt say you are a great player it just says you spent a lot of time.

Dont get me wrong, i hate this game and love it at the same time so i am not here to defend anyone :D

I don't think the "it's an external website showing your hypothetical level, so not Respawn's responsibility for misleading you" is a reasonable defence.
The game still shows the XP bar filling up, resetting, and awarding legends tokens.
Moreover your actual level can be derived from your legend tokens balance.
Though I'm not too fussed about the reset, it would be nice if we received a badge indicating the actual rank we reached prior to the reset.
I've also got to ask what's going to stop the exact same issue repeating in a few months, when players start reaching level 500?
It doesn't seem like this reset resolves the underlying issue at all, just postpones it.

  That's kind of my train of thought to. I have 40k kills. I know the difference. It just seems like ea hates grinders. Why have a lvl cap at all.

    @DemonicTim Honestly idk why theres a level cap anyways unless they plan on giving more packs after 500 and don’t want people to get them all at once and be bored again
