Respawn banner pick up...does it really need a 2 second long animation???

Video clip of me dying to a Lifeline that literally walks up to me as I'm grabbing my teammate's banner and unable to do anything because of a 2 second long animation of me just staring at my teammate's banner... Do we really need such a long animation for such a vital moment in game? I know it's probably better to just fight instead of going for a banner, but at the moment, I didn't see the Lifeline until it was too late, and literally could do nothing but watch her mow me down because of this animation... And there are times when you do need to just duck in and grab a banner real quick, but hey, let's throw in a 2 second long animation to keep you from doing anything except making you a sitting duck for the other teams...
