Revenant Death Totem change

Earlier in the year I made a post on a way to buff Revenant's Passive and Tactical. I still think those changes would be good. However, after playing some Ranked games with Revenant in Season 13, I think it's time for Revenant to get a change for his ultimate.  With the VFX change last year to address the "Revtane" synergy by teams, it has left Revenant in awkward place months later. It can feel too risky using the Death Totem since the enemy team Rev is ulting against can figure out the general location of the Totem and then use it themselves. Also, it can potentially attract a lot of 3rd parties.

Here's what I have in mind for the Death Totem:

[+] Enemy teams may no longer be able to use opposing team(s) Death Totem unless the opposing Revenant is eliminated. Only after the elimination will an enemy team be able to use the Death protection.
- Why?: This is to stop odd scenarios where enemy teams, after knowing where your Totem is due to the VFX, run over to use your own Totem against your team. Teams should be incentivized to destroy the totem or fight out the enemy Revenant team.

[+] Death Totem now has a 0.10s "stun" on weapons/abilities on you when you "die" during Death Protection and get sent back to the Totem.
- Why?: This is to prevent awkward situations where you were fragging/shooting/using tactical and got sent back to the Totem and accidently nade yourself/shoot the Totem/use Tactical.

  • I was thinking (definitely not alone on this) they should make his ultimate instead of just being death protection to make it like the Halloween event where you turn into a monster and have extra jump height and speed BUT!!! with some limitations and/or alterations of course for balancing reasons.

    For example

    1. Limited number of melee hits(or attempts) before you get returned to totem

    2. Amount of damage inflicted per hit.

    3. Monster hp. and speed.

    4. Totem time limit.

    5. Noise monsters make (like a growl)

I'm sure more could be added or removed but I believe this will increase revenant's pick rate and become more played by high skill players
