Revenant Passive & Tactical Buff Idea
After playing Revenant for a bit, I feel he that he could use some adjustments to his kit. Here are my ideas:
[Passive] Stalker:
+ While under Death protection, his climbing and crouch walking speed is further increased
+ Revenant restores 25 health over time when he eliminates an enemy, restoring the health quicker if he Finishes them. He restores half of the health amount on assisted eliminations or enemy he downed is eliminated.
[Tactical] Silence:
- No longer does 10 damage
+ Now does 10 health damage on impact (or walking into the Cloud) and the Silence Cloud will also deal 2 health damage per second for the duration of the persisting Cloud. (Dealing max 30 health damage in total if you take impact + stand in the Silence Cloud; Can only take tick damage from one cloud)
-------------------
Passive - Why?
- My first point is to put more of an emphasis on his passive when he's in his Shadow form. Due to the shorter duration on his ultimate, I think giving him faster passive movement will allow him to take advantage of his ultimate for surprise attacks on buildings. If Revenant gets a duration increase on his Death totem then you can probably scratch this.
The second point is to give Revenant more solo strength when he kills opponents.
Tactical - Why?
- While I think the silence is very strong, I feel it's a bit lacking damage wise. Having it do health damage will feel more impactful against opponents and making the Cloud do health tick damage if you stand in it will prevent awkward situations where opponents are healing in your Cloud after taking the impact damage. Revenant's Cloud can hinder your vision of the opponent so having the tick damage will make allow players to see their enemy better when they're dueling you in the Cloud.
