I forget what it is, but there's a good reason why this change was made. Something about it was being improperly exploited. Yeah, it can be a big hassle, and some avenues for fun are gone as a result.
Firing range has always gotten the short end of the stick. I mean look, we're still picking up ammo in stacks of twenty, two years later. I think it's pretty clear that Respawn doesn't see much value in improving it, unfortunately.
I have not experienced whatever issue you're referring to with regard to activating either one of the easter eggs.

@TheApexLegendNub Hrm. I don't engage it very often, but did so not that long ago to check out some strafing patterns. I want to make clear that I'm just trying to be realistic in this thread, not to be negative on your ideas.
Whoa boy. I decided to give it a go, and it's pretty messed up. I just die after changing legend. I repeated this a bunch of times, very consistent. This is relatively new. I have not encountered this before even after they changed the range so you couldn't have multiple legends' abilities out. There's some new mechanic in play that I haven't seen before. Currently, it would seem that you cannot engage either easter egg. Seeing what I can do to get some attention.
- @pandareno1999 There's no point in it being a thing either. When it comes to other players, all you see are holosprays and all you hear is the occasional sound effect from things such as grenades, or visual effects if there's a bug, such as Valkyrie's tactical showing on the ground.
