Save the game 101

Looking at the charts the game is slowly dying , here's some obvious thing that should've been implemented years ago : Give us : -SoloQ/DuoQ/TrioQ ranked like any decent BR                -input ...

    Yes they function differently but also alike.


    if it was up to me I would get rid of AA and separate the lobbies via input device. This would put all players on the same level and would make detecting Aimbot a lot easier.

    bottom line is of course what you do not want to hear, AA is coded in the game and is legal while Aimbot is not.

    @r1ggedgame Thats the point, I know how it works and I played with both inputs. This is a non issue . It was created to help that inferior aim input for shooters. Lasers are superior.

    SSG was bY far not the Kill Leading Team in that ALGS Tournament. As i said, if you dont wanna educate yourself on the inner workings of aim assist, it has no sense to discuss this further.

    @r1ggedgame Confirming what I said... input is not significant. How you play is. These players are all on the same level... there is no secret for them so input didnt make a difference.

    If you dont want to educated yourself how aim assist works on a technical level, you will never understand why purist aimers hate that tech.
    They dislike it even if it would be inferior, its simply the fact that it is an automatic. no matter how strong or weak it gets tuned.
    As long as there are mixed input lobbies it will be always an issue.

    I have a suggestion:
    Remove all forms of "player located here" from being sent to players clients.
    Remove and revoke "I shot this target" packets
    Server sends environment changing packets to player clients so they can see other players, but tech cannot differentiate between a rock, a gun, a prowler, and a player.
    Clients send "I shoot this gun in this direction" packets
    Server calculates trajectory and the environmental visuals of the bullet and path.
    Server reads player and creature positions, cross references with projectile paths, ordinance paths, ordinance detonations, etc, and if it deals damage it sends a "You hit a target for X damage" to the damage dealing client. Damage numbers appear on the side of the screen instead of on targets as clients can't track targets anymore with this system.
    Or at the position the damage was dealt, not following the target hit.

    No more client tracking of players, no more "I hit this target." No more room for cheaters.
    It may be heavy on the server for all the calculations, but it will be fair.
