Sbmm is broken

It is ruining the game for anyone who's even a little bit above average. I'm diamond 4 and my KDR is 1.8, i'm not trash, but i'm not prepared to face 5-10 predators per match. Game is not fun anymore, only reason to play would be to grind to predator, but even there you're matched against pro players as soon as you get to diamond 4. The result is that there isn't a game mode for above average players who, most of the time, are those who spent the most time and money in game; why should they punish their most loyal customers? It doesn't seem smart to me, I guess we will see. What I know for sure is that I'm not playing as much as I used to and may leave till next season drop and ranks are reset. It is a big mess if you ask me.
