Please Reconsider Linux/Proton Support for Apex Legends

Hey Respawn team,

I’ve been playing Apex since launch and have stuck with the game for years. I recently moved to PC with my OS being Linux Mint, and I was honestly surprised to see how far Apex still gets through Proton—it can even reach parts of the menu.

I understand why Linux support was restricted because of anti-cheat concerns, but I wanted to ask whether Proton/Linux support might ever return in the future.

I’ve never cheated or used anything that would put my account at risk, and I’d really love to be able to keep playing Apex on my main PC without needing Windows or another platform.

Even if there’s no current plan, I’d appreciate any information you can share about whether Linux support is something the team may reconsider.

BTW my main account is cjswebsolutions on Ps5 had to create this one, because my old email that I do not have access to anymore has put me in a bind I missed the account recover pop-up window lol
