What's the point? None.
Respawn took this tactic with EA thinking it's cool to get "new content" and a refresh.
To tell the truth, over the last two seasons their changes have made people more nervous than they were good.
This is because they either don't listen to the players at all or the gameplay director is a complete lunatic who has never played his own game.
I have no idea why they don't want to fully balance the game so that everyone can enjoy the game for another 90 days. Why are they buffing one class for 90 days, while the rest are practically unplayable? I don't know and I don't think any of us do. One thing is for sure, whoever has been in charge of gameplay since around season 20 has completely lost their minds and is ruining this game. In season 23 and 24 he has already given such "a great performance" that I am afraid of what awaits us in season 25.
The Ash remake took away a few hundred games that I could have played longer, and win a few dozen of them. I will add that there are also a lot of cheaters playing Ash.
The game has become completely pointless, so I uninstalled it and wait for information whether Ash will get the big nerf it deserves in Split 2. If not, I still do not intend to play Ash Legends. I wish all the worst to the person who is ruining this game at Respawn.
And finally solo queue - it's never been worse than this season. You always get worse teammates than you, and you're fighting 3 stacks with the best badges. Unwinnable game for someone who enters the lobby solo.
