This was another poorly executed idea for the new season. First, it gives away my position. "HEY LOBBY! I SCANNED THIS RING CONSOLE, COME KILL ME!!!" Almost makes me not want to scan the ring cons...

I agree!! The ring console is honestly useless and should probably use the survey beacon instead. Please remove ring consoles.
I disagree and find the ring consoles very useful.
The survey beacons also give away positions, but thats the risk, esp if in crypto drone and looking that way.
