Season 7 Buff for Octane Apex Legends

I believe Octane is very underwhelming with his ability in creating a gap, between him and his aggressor. I have an idea to help fix this issue, and add another stat line to the apex archives. “Steps...

should have been buffed this season

he needs some combination of the following

- replace heal cost with something else to prevent him from being stimmed at all times (like a heat mechanic)

- lower heal cost to like 5

- increase health regen to like 1hp/s or even 1.5hp/s

- decrease jumpad cooldown to 50 seconds

- further increase speed to 50%

- remove green glowy trail

- remove the WUB WUB WUB WUB WUB WUB sound he makes while stimmed

- allow octane to cancel stim

- remove the stim cooldown entirely and make stim a toggle-able ability

    Hi @Eurlannd 

    Unfortunately there are two reasons why I disagree with your ideas.

    It makes Octane completely broken and no premium Legend should be broken.

    And it completely overlooks the main issue with Octane: he is in no way, shape or form a team player.

    Besides, the developers have confirmed that Octane's upcoming changes have been planned to make him more useful to a team.

    I agree with most of what You said but I think the 2 second stim is necassry, because he would be able to zoom around the map. I do agree with the speed increase, he is just so underwhelming. The stim takes away to much health. I think his ultimate is right where it needs to be. That green trail that follows octane is just stupid, also has anyone else noticed how freakin loud his legs are. Alos I agree that he should not make that loud of a sound when stimmed.

      So this is for season 7 I hope that they add an octane buff because he is my main. I have heard rumors of an octane buff were he drops a pack of stims for him and his team. I would not like this to happen because it will ruin octane, all u would need to do is have and octane on your team and you would have his abilities plus whatever legend you are using. It would be pointless because everyone would be going 30% faster and that would just be like how it is if nobody was stimming. So I think it is best to keep octane as the unique speedy dare-devil he is.
